Tiraz Sitti documents stitches from villages and towns of the Gaza district, carrying their visual and human identity through handmade pieces.
Place comes first
A piece is connected to a village or town only when that relationship is documented in the archive data, so its story remains traceable to its source.
A living practice
Embroidery is not presented as decoration detached from people; it is a practice carrying place-memory into useful contemporary objects.
Documentation before publication
Submitted stories and images remain private until sources, rights, and consent are reviewed. What we do not know, we do not guess.
